The Hospital Disaster and Emergency Plans (HAP) Unit of Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital conducted a "Disaster Awareness and Fire Training" for hospital staff. Held at the hospital's Conference Center, the training program provided information on preparedness for disasters and emergencies, correct behavior during a disaster, fire prevention methods, and initial fire response.
The training aimed to enable staff to respond consciously, quickly, and effectively in disasters and emergencies that may occur in and around the hospital. Theoretical information was provided, and precautions and intervention methods against potential fires were discussed in detail. The program concluded with a practical fire extinguishing drill conducted on the hospital grounds. During the drill, participating personnel had the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge by receiving practical training on the use of fire extinguishing equipment.
