Chief Physician


Prof. Dr. Mustafa DURAN

Born in Konya in 1978, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Duran completed primary and secondary school in Konya, and high school in Ankara and Konya. He started Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and graduated from this school in 2002. He started his specialization training in Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Cardiology in 2003 and became a cardiology specialist in 2008.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Duran worked as a cardiology specialist at Ankara Etlik Specialization Training and Research Hospital between 2008-2011. Meanwhile, he completed his military service in Samsun and Konya. He worked as a cardiology specialist at Kayseri Training and Research Hospital between 2011-2013. In 2013, he started his duty at Ankara Training and Research Hospital as a Chief Assistant. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2014 and in the same year became a Training Assistant at the Ankara Training and Research Hospital Cardiology Clinic. In 2015, he moved to the University of Health Sciences staff and continued to work as a faculty member at the same hospital. In 2019, he was appointed as the Chief Physician of Yıldırım Beyazıt University Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital. While he was serving as Chief Physician, he received the title of Professor in 2021.

He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. Having more than 100 articles published in national and international journals, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Duran also has papers presented in many scientific meetings. prof. Dr. Mustafa Duran is married and has two children.
