May 12 Nurses' Day Event at Our Hospital

A meaningful event was held at our hospital on May 12, Nurses' Day. The program, held in our conference hall, began with a moment of silence and the Turkish national anthem. The opening speeches were given by our Director of Health Care Services, Ms. Arzu YALÇIN, followed by our Chief Physician, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Ömer YILDIZ. The event continued with presentations and demonstrations highlighting the significance and importance of the day.  

Sections included in the event program:  

Dr. Kubilay İNAN — “The Power of the Nurse”  

Gül ÇAKMAK — “Nursing is One of the Fine Arts”

A video presentation titled “Little Heroes”

“A Day in the Life of Intensive Care” presented by our intensive care nurses Şerife Beyza ÖZCAN and Ceren ERENLİ

A video presentation prepared by general surgery nurses

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeliha ÖZDEMİR KÖKEN (Director of TÜSEB Technology Transfer Office, Hacettepe University) — “The Productive Health Model: Innovative Approaches and Nursing”

Dr. Belgin VAROL (Health Sciences University) — “Artificial Intelligence: Threats”

A skit performed by our healthcare workers

Presentation of plaques to our retired staff

A musical performance accompanied by guitar by Dr. Bekir ÇOKER

The event concluded with a cocktail reception.

Additionally, as part of Nurses' Day on May 12, our Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Ömer YILDIZ and Hospital Management visited our nurses who are working with great dedication. During the visit, flowers were presented to our nurses, and they were thanked for their dedicated work and the value they add to healthcare services.

We are grateful to all nurses who touch human lives, perform their duties with dedication, and are an indispensable part of healthcare services.
