As part of the “Breast Milk Promotion and Baby-Friendly Institutions Program” carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and UNICEF, an in-service training program on “Breast Milk and Breastfeeding Counseling” was organized at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital.
Over the course of the three-day training program, healthcare personnel were provided with comprehensive information on the importance of breastfeeding, breastfeeding techniques, and counseling mothers. The aim of the training is to improve the quality of baby-friendly healthcare services and support infant health by increasing breastfeeding rates.
