Patients brought by 112 ambulance to our Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department, which provides 24-hour uninterrupted service, are taken to the red or yellow area without waiting for the necessary examination and intervention according to the triage code determined by the ambulance officer.
The psychological effects of traumatic cases being seen by pediatric patients are prevented thanks to the three entrance doors that allow adult patients, pediatric patients and patients arriving by ambulance in emergencies to be taken to the red area.
The first evaluation of each patient who applies to the emergency department as an outpatient is performed by the health personnel in the triage department.
Patients whose condition is decided according to the triage classification are registered through automation and directed to the areas where they will be examined.
If necessary, according to the triage classification, the patient is transferred by bed or wheelchair accompanied by healthcare personnel.
After the examination of the patient, 24 hours of uninterrupted laboratory, X-ray, MRI and tomography services are provided for the necessary examinations.
