AIDS can be transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse, shared syringes, intravenous drug use, blood transfusion and from mother to baby during pregnancy or childbirth. Due to these transmission routes, HIV infection can be seen not only in adults but in all age groups.
Remember, it is possible to be protected!
