Yenimahalle Education and Research Hospital hosted an important symposium to raise awareness about COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). “What is COPD? How to Live with COPD?” was held in the hospital conference hall with a wide participation.
The opening speech of the symposium was delivered by our hospital chief physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Ömer YILDIZ. In the event, Prof. Dr. Füsun ÜLGER, Administrative Officer of Chest Diseases, made a comprehensive presentation on the definition of COPD, risk factors, symptoms and how to fight the disease. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions about COPD.
The event was attended by hospital management, healthcare professionals and patients.
